We used the alarm today because we have a couple of early presentations we would like to listen to. The first is on Namibi, which is where we next stop.
The second presentation, attended just by Ed, is a talk by the Captain on the operation of the ship. While this was on Sue, went line dancing. We met up again for dancing lessons on the Cha Cha Cha, which was not necessarily a success.
Following the dancing, a drink was required to settle our nerves. Then it was off to choir practice, which is now becoming much more serious with some people.
Having learnt the beginning of a new song, we set off to another part of the ship to sign us both up for the crossing the equator ceremony which is due to take place in a couple of days time.

We then went to the planetarium for a film show called “Hello, is anyone out there?” Unfortunately, I dropped asleep and had to be poked when I started snoring.
As we had missed lunch, we went for an afternoon snack in the buffet, followed by a walk round the deck. Ed left and went to the cabin to read, and Sue did 1.33 miles.
We had a late dinner with Clive, a native of Cape Town, then we were back in the theatre for the show, which was a brilliant performance by a clarinettist and big band.
Ed thought the night was over, but we were then off to the ballroom and party night, so Sue could have another dance.
