QM2 Cruise Day 10

The ships clock changed by an hour overnight. We found a certificate delivered to the cabin to celebrate our taking part in crossing the line yesterday.

A slow start with fruit and coffee before we walked a mile walk around the promenade deck.

We then went to listen to Niki Campbell talking about how reality television programmes are made. This was quite amusing, and we now wish we had bothered to go to her first talk.

The next challenge of the day was the Jive dance lessons. The less said about this, the better.

To recover our composure, it is time for us to nip into the pub for a drink and a spot of lunch before separating (not permanently, but it was a close thing while we learnt the jive). Sue went to choir, and I went to a classic piano and guitar performance.

It was time for a rest, so Sue went on deck to cook in the sun, and I stayed on our balcony to read and doze in the shade.

At around 7.00 p.m., after ‘scrubbing up,’ we settled into one of our favourite bars, The Chart Room, to listen to a pianist and chat to various couples before going into dinner.

After dinner it was another show based on Michael Bubble.
