We arrived in port early in the morning.

This is the view of Table Mountain from our cabin this morning, and it is clear and sunny. We leave the ship tomorrow morning, so decide, as it is clear, today is the day to go to the top.

We have a leisurely breakfast and pack before we take the shuttle bus into town in the hope of missing any crowds. We wander around the Victoria and Alfred waterfront and marina before catching the hop on hop off bus to the Table Mountain cable car. Once at the top, we walk around the various paths before heading back down.

It’s very hot, so after we visit Camp Bay and Botany Bay, we head back to the aircon of the ship for a few beers, a rest, and to put the main bags outside the cabin door.
It is our last night on board, so we want to make the most of it. Our evening starts with drinks in the Chart Room where we listened to the string trio. We then head into The Britania Restaurant for dinner, and then into The Kings Court Theatre for the African Folklaw show.
