Today the van gets a rest because it is a treasure hunt on foot around Rome. At 9am the hotel shuttle bus took us to the Vatican where we started hunting for clues and taking photos to prove we had visited.

We were with Jackie and Kevin and all took on roles. I was navigator finding the way to 12 dots on a hotel map, supplemented with google maps. Sue & Jackie did research to answer question, and Kevin was photographer.

We stopped strategically for coffee, lunch and Ice cream so research could be undertaken before we arrived at the appointed place. It was great fun, took all day and we did some 16,000 steps before taking a taxi to the hotel.

We await our scores with interest.
