Day 1 Cycling Tour de Yorkshire

Our first cycle tour in 2 years and looking a bit different from our French rides. This is a circular ride round the Yorkshire wolds. I have promised my compatriot we are only doing the flat bits, and it might even all be down hill.

After an hour queueing at the Humber bridge due to an unexploded bomb closing the motorway we arrive in Beverly. We are  staying in a B&B who assure us they will keep feeding the carpark meter for the next 6 days. After a walking tour of the town with a less than adequate map, we discover Beverly has a lot to commend it including a good choice of restaurants and pubs.

Tonight we started in a cocktail bar and the meal in a Brazilian restaurant. Well it is as close as we are going to get to going abroad. I wonder what country tomorrow nights meal experience will be.
